HEAD are delighted to announce that Swiss World Cup star Beat Feuz has decided to join the HEAD World Cup Rebels. In the last few seasons Beat Feuz has demonstrated that he is one of the most exciting talents on the World Cup tour. Feuz was one of the leading speed racers in Downhill and Super G this past season and finished second in the Downhill and third in the Super G standings, narrowly missing out on the Overall Globe as well.

Feuz commented that “I became number 1 at Salomon and now I want to become number 1 at HEAD.”  HEAD are the number 1 manufacturer in the Alpine Skiing World Cup having won five of the ten Crystal Globes awarded at the end of last season. HEAD World Cup Rebels scored the most points on the World Cup of all ski brands in the 2011 – 12 FIS Alpine World Cup season.

The 25 year old from the Emmental region of Switzerland will use the complete package of HEAD products – Skis, boots and bindings and has signed on for an initial two year deal.

HEAD Chairman Johan Eliasch is very pleased that Beat chose to join the HEAD family of athletes: ‘Beat is an exceptionally strong racer who can go very far, so we are extremely pleased that Beat chose HEAD, which is a tribute to the HEAD Race Team; the HEAD race equipment engineering and the phenomenal service they provide’

Race Manager for the HEAD World Cup Rebels, Rainer Salzgeber, is looking forward to welcoming Beat to the team and helping him go one step higher in the Overall Rankings for next season. Feuz joins Aksel Lund Svindal, Bode Miller, Ted Ligety, Kjetil Jansrud, Marcel Mathis as well as Lindsey Vonn, Maria Hoefl-Riesch, Lizz Goergl and Anna Fenninger as a HEAD World Cup Rebel.

Feuz will start training on the new skis for the forthcoming season in July.

Beat has won 5 World Cup races in his career including the Olympic Test event in Downhill last season and been on the podium a further ten times.
