The team at Alpine Answers have started their pre-Christmas visits to a number of ski resorts in Europe and our first report has come back from Verbier in Switzerland...
"Snow conditions were surprisingly good on piste and the snow has kept pretty well. It is possible to ski all the way back down into Verbier and this is being maintained well. No problems on piste once you get up the Medran lift. Obviously, some of the resort is still closed but the skiing was still very good and you can get right up to 3380m and ski from there all the way down into the village. We had a guy from #ESSnowsports and he was really great and knew all the best places to go. Verbier itself is a great resort and quite lively with lots going on in the evening. The Ski Armadillochalets are really great and I stayed in the Chalet Marais Rouge which is finished to a really high standard and the food and service was excellent."
