2 Scottish ski areas have tows operating again

After a disastrously snowless March in which all ski lifts in Scotland (apart from regular access lifts) had to close ...

 

Cairngorm and The Lecht -  two of the three resorts on the east side of Scotland - have managed to restart some draglifts for Easter. At the time of writing, Cairngorm is running its M1 Poma, and halfway uplift on the West Wall Poma. The Lecht has around 6 Pomas running. More snow is expected in the coming days, though temperatures and snowlines could be variable.

 

The Scottish ski season regularly continues to late April or even May, so let's hope for some classic April 'lambing storms' ...
