Ischgl today announced the artist for its legendary Top of the Mountain season closing concert as Italian superstar Zucchero.
The blues and rock star will take to Ischgl’s famous open-air stage at 2300m in the amphitheatre of the Silvretta Arena at lunchtime on Sunday 30 April 2017 – the penultimate day of the Tirolean resort’s incredible five-month long winter season.
Zucchero – which is Italian for sugar – is launching the 2017 leg of his Black Cat tour in Ischgl. The first leg included sell-out concerts at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
His distinctive blues and rock songs will have ski and snowboard fans rocking along to well-known tracks such as Miserere and Diamonte.
Concert entry is free with a valid liftpass, which is necessary to access the concert arena.
Ischgl’s season opening concert featured German superstar band PUR. Past TOTM headline acts include Robbie Williams, Elton John, Kylie Minogue and Muse.
