Into December and more Big Sky terrain opening up

No massive storms since "Brutus" on November 8th, but with a few inches here and a few inches there, Big Sky has been able to open up some more challenging terrain, including the legendary "Big Couloir" (photo, by Big Sky Resort).

Reece and I were able to enjoy some steep terrain in the Big Rock Tongue area, served by the Challenger chairlift (see video) and we also found some fresh powder in the trees near the Buffalo Jump run (see video).

It has been unseasonably warm, with rain down in the valley (mainly falling as snow on the mountain), but the weather is due to turn colder, with snow forecast for the next three days, so things are beginning to look good!
