Dew Tour Roundup

The Dew Tour wrapped up today, putting a bow on the first of five olympic qualifying event for US athletes.

Snowboard Superpipe Men: Greg Bretz (USA) beat out Shaun White, Scotty Lago and Iouri Podladtchikov, all of whom were supposed to run away with the title, but all falling during their runs. Shaun White's crash led to an aggravation of an old ankle injury, and a withdrawal from the slopestyle finals.

Snowboard Superpipe Women: Olympic veterans Torah Bright (AUS) and Kelly Clark (USA) took the top two steps on the podium with 13 year old Chloe Kim holding her own and taking third. Kim is unfortunately too young to participate in the Sochi Olympics.

Snowboard Slopestyle Men: The absence of Shaun White and his attempt to return to slopestyle  was noticeable. Mark Morris, the defending Dew Tour champion, took top honors, followed by Sweden's Sven Thorgren and Canada's Maxence Parrot.

Snowboard Slopestyle Women: USA beat out a field stacked with northern Europeans. Jamie Anderson beat out Finland's Enni Rukajarvi and Norway's Silje Norendal.

Ski Slopestyle Men: Nick Goepper took first place with consistently great runs, Bobby Brown (Breck Local) took 5th place overall and second out of the Americans, with Tom Wallisch being the third American to take points for qualification. Britain's James "Woodsy" Woods took sixth place in a highly competitive field.

Ski Slopestyle Women: Devin Logan (USA) won with her first run beating Kim Lamarre, while Maggie Voisin got to take home third on her 15th birthday. The placing of these three was decided on the first run.

Ski Superpipe Men: In a stacked final David Wise beat Aaron Blunck and Lyman Currier, while Simon Dumont did not start due to injury.

Ski Superpipe Women: Maddie Bowman took the win, followed by Angeli VanLaanen and Brita Sigourney
