#ThoughtForTheWeekend . . . .World Snow Day

This week’s #Thoughtfortheweekend is ‘World Snow Day’ an event happening throughout the world to promote snow activities as a healthy leisure recreation for children aged between 4 and 14, World Snow Day aims also at educating children on key safety aspects on the slope. The young participants are taught to understand the weather, to comprehend avalanches and snow movements or simply to make a snowman.

Events are happening throughout the many resorts Silver Swan send staff to, so, if you are in Zermatt or Courchevel or even Austria this weekend, we would love if you can get some snaps for us.

There will be lots of fun events happening throughout the resorts, ok, we admit, it will mostly be for children BUT there will be grown up tents, perhaps a mulled wine and DJ’s so the adults can play too!

Children will have access to free lift passes, ski equipment hire and even complimentary ski lessons – a child’s dream.

That set aside, it is a fun event to get involved in, and one of our clients based throughout Courchevel, Les Gets, Meribel and Val d’Isere are hosting their own World Snow Day, with snowman making competitions and many activities for children to get involved in.

If you are organising anything special for your guests this weekend, keep us posted!

If not, then enjoy the games in resort.
